Cedar Mountain Commons celebrates 15 years of caring
April 26, 2017
Residents, staff, families and business professionals filled the social areas at Cedar Mountain Commons that marked its 15th anniversary with a celebration on April 26. Located at 3 John H. Stewart Drive, Cedar Mountain Commons, a department of Hartford Hospital, is a not for profit independent and assisted living community.

Offering congratulations are, from left, Dave Marsden, of the Newington Chamber of Commerce, and Charles Lowe, Newington Rotarian, with Executive Director James Casey.
James Casey, who has been executive director for the past 15 years, welcomed guests to the event featuring lavish food, music and tours of the residential community. “The past 15 years have absolutely flown by. I am deeply indebted to the start-up team, current staff that work here and the residents that call Cedar Mountain Commons home. Without their support, energy, sharing of ideas and dedication, Cedar Mountain Commons would not be the special place that it is.”
