Hartford HealthCare Senior Services honors milestone employees

Hartford HealthCare Senior Services recently honored milestone employees from its seven communities including Jefferson House and Cedar Mountain Commons, located respectively at 1 and 3 John H. Stewart Drive. The staffers were congratulated at the Longevity Celebration held Oct. 13 at Southington Care Center Courtyard. Executive directors from each community presented the awards.

Cedar Mountain Commons honorees were: 10 years – Joseph D. Chmura, Shondel Edwards, Jenpher Sherman, Richard Sicotte; and five years – Michelyn Clarke, Lyn Harper, Isoline Powell, Veronica Reid, Howard Rosenthal.

Jefferson House honorees included: 35 years – Robin Cattanio; 25 years – Kevin Begley; 20 years - Lorna Aljoe, Maureen Lahickey; Mai Tang; 15 years – Maria Boccaccio, Robert Maigret, Hotherline Pascal; 10 years – Yanira Colon, Paramjeet Jutla, Deborah Rinaldi, Mary Roche, Priscilla Schwarz, Jesmi Stanislavose; and five years – Halina Brzoska, Rosario Budd, LeeLamma Kuriakose, Oxdeli Pereira, Marianne Plewa, Dawna Prior, Manzo Tuzolana, Adelaida Villeroz.

“Today we honor our milestone anniversary recipients who have worked between five and 35 years,” said Lisa Connolly, NHA, MS, vice president, Hartford HealthCare Community Network, in remarks during the ceremony. “This is a testament to the culture of our communities, the extraordinary commitment of the staff, and their passion for seniors we are so privileged to serve each and every day.”

Cedar Mountain Commons, a department of Hartford Hospital, is a not for profit independent and assisted living community. Jefferson House, a department of Hartford Hospital, offers short-term/outpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing and palliative care.
