Elderlife Financial
Elderlife (EFS) is a lending institution that provides loans for seniors. EFS Access loan is an easy way to finance senior living.

With low monthly payments, this loan can be utilized to: elderlifefinancial.com

  • Pay for rent while waiting for a home to sell 
  • Pay for rent while waiting for VA or other benefits 
  • Finance move-in fees 
  • Supplement monthly rent

Veterans Program - Aid & Attendance
The Aid and Attendance program is a federal benefit provided through the Department of Veteran Affairs. This program provides a monthly benefit towards assisted living for qualified applicants. Surviving spouses of veterans may be eligible for benefits.

Companion Suites
Perhaps you love the idea of moving into an independent living or assisted living community, but you’re concerned about your budget. Or maybe you simply don’t want to live alone. Either way, Companion Suites are the perfect solution. Seniors are brought together by sharing an apartment, forming new friendships and saving on their monthly rent.

State of Connecticut Pilot Program: Mulberry Gardens is an approved participant for the state of Connecticut Pilot program. Funds granted are used for personal care services for those who fall under the income guidelines.

Respite Options
Mulberry Gardens participates in the Area Agency on Aging and the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America Respites Grants.

Long Term Care Insurance
Most long term care insurance plans can be used in assisted living. Check with your insurance agent to see if you qualify to receive these benefits from your plan.
